Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Kuwait: Q4 2023 Performance

During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Kuwait showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps Go experienced a steady download rate, peaking at around 4.7K in early October and ending the quarter with a slight increase to 4.4K in the last week of December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 450K mark throughout the quarter.

Kuwait Finder saw a gradual decline in downloads, starting from 3.7K at the end of September and dropping to approximately 2.9K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight increase in October, peaking at 11.8K, but then decreased to around 10.5K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of 2.2K in the last week of December. Active users for Waze showed a positive trend, rising from 173K in late September to about 184K by the end of December.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, reaching approximately 1.4K in the final week of December. The app also saw a consistent rise in active users, growing from 2.2K at the end of September to about 2.9K by the end of December. Revenue peaked at around $4 in mid-October and late November.

Google Earth had a significant spike in downloads mid-quarter, with a high of 2.2K in the week of October 16. Active users also saw a peak during this time, reaching 8.5K, before stabilizing around 5.5K towards the end of December.
